Avatar Imports Fair Trade boho chic clothing designed in Santa Cruz, produced in Nepal. Avatar Imports was founded while on a cross-country road trip back in 1990.

Motivated by a love of music, travel and the bohemian lifestyle, we began traveling the world in search of interesting clothing and accessories to bring back to the States and sell at music shows and festivals. Kathmandu, Nepal became a favorite regular stop on our buying/design trips, and in late 1991 we thankfully met Mr. Jhaindra Ghimire. Who was working as a manager in a factory in Kathmandu a

Based in Santa Cruz, California, Avatar Imports’ mission is to design and create fun, fashionable, high quality goods in a manner that is socially, environmentally and economically responsible.
