to give you tips on collecting and buying vintage, On the Road; a visit to vintage shops on my travels, book reviews and previews of listings and new treasures! Some trivia. BEE Beautiful?? The ancient Bee Goddess was chosen by a majority of my female students as a healing symbol for our time. The bee is essential to the Web of Life, so as a woman of fashion who holds the future generations in her heart as something precious, I found the BEE as a potent avatar in the offering of well-made gorgeous vintage clothing and accessories. VINTAGE as an antidote to our throw-away culture, a way to re-cycle and value elements of women's history, to Bee Green and Bee Beautiful. As a Buddhist Meditation teacher, I recognize that a beautiful mind filled with good intentions can add a radiance to that countenance we face in the mirror, lovingly accentuated with some creative flair and stylin' in our vintage dresses, hats, costume jewelry and accessories. So like a modern Diana, the Goddess of the forests, animals and moon, I 'hunt' for those sublime vintage treasures that will make you smile and re-vision yourself as an emanation of the sacred feminine. I do my best to locate garments in all sizes, including the ever-elusive vintage Goddess size to honor our bodies as they are, though a little spanx can create a miracle at times ;-)
