I do love to create with color… and more flowers - they make me happy as I “sketch” my layout for my next pair of upcycled jeans with floral applique from a couple of donated fabrics. They needed to be revived and refreshed for spring, from plain to extra special!!!

With snow and cold (when will it be Spring??) outside my studio windows, I am creating flowers in my own garden of flowers, inside. After picking up some inspiring vintage fabrics, I continue to build my soft pink collection…

My sketches in my favorite materials I have been playing in… to create some new lingerie style pieces…vintage laces, bygone fabrics, light and delicate…to create some beauty after a long winter!!!

My best pant yet!!!!
I made a pair of pants for a client, she wanted to copy one of her favorite pairs so I usually make a pattern, customize the fit and fabric. I have fallen in love with this pattern so much so, that I have made several other versions!
I have found a way to create collage art to wear by piecing different fabrics together, mostly by color and to use up the fabrics…
This style is high waisted, with a wider leg and pockets! You could say I’m on a roll making these pants!!!!

I am very excited to start my next collection - I’m calling ‘Romancing the Soft Pink’

I am inspired by these elements that I have put together on my mood board and want to give a huge thank you and shout out to for setting the stage for me on this. (I am taking a class called Pattern Play - more on this later). I used to create mood board collages way back when to illustrate trend direction and it feels soo good to make this for my own story - a little vintage fabric, lace, delicate flowers and textures, and plenty of femininity.
So I started diving in with some jewelry pieces…and more…

I am always inspired by the romantic, so I create beautiful things into a world full of stress and discord, to bring a little love 💗 …and so the heart shape, as a symbol of love, gets to be celebrated at Valentine’s Day, through the month of February and all year long. I am celebrating this as well with my new “softer” pin (because I love the PIN accessory, I wear one everyday) I created called my ‘SHARE THE LOVE” PIN ( and now wearing this one every day).
In the bigger picture, particularly in today’s environment, where we all need more love, (I know it sounds corny) Love to all!!! ❤️

In the end, to create my best pieces it must come from my heart. I believe this transfers into my pieces. It is especially gratifying when I create a piece for someone, and they love it!! The energy and attention to detail is part of my signature!!! I am trying very hard to look inward to find the peace in these times of turmoil, so that I may continue to create peaceful beauty!

I am deeply disturbed, deeply affected by the distain for the human spirit that I see from this administration - it is horrendous what they are doing within ICE and with relations around the world. I do not support it in the least. All I can do is speak out about my discontent…boycott where I can, be part of the huge wave to show the kind of world I want to live in -“ be part of the change you want to see”!

I am very encouraged by how the people in our communities are rallying, PEACEFULLY banding together to support each other. I am touched by the monks who are walking for peace. I look inward to find my peace so I too may be a beacon of light. Corny as it sounds, create love and peace!
