Three amazing days full of good energy, meaningful connections, and getting to style our clients in person. One of my favorite parts was helping women find the pieces that made them feel beautiful and confident, while hearing all the love and feedback for our designs.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there 🤍

Mother’s Day always makes me stop and think about all the incredible women behind Montsera.

So many of our artisans are mothers. Women balancing motherhood, work, family, and life… while still finding the time and patience to sit down and create every piece by hand.

Behind each garment, there’s a real woman.
A mother with dreams, responsibilities, strength.

Today I also want to celebrate all the women who are part of this journey in different ways—our artisans, our clients, our vendors, our community.

El Día de las Madres siempre me hace pensar en todas las mujeres increíbles detrás de Montsera.

Muchas de nuestras artesanas son mamás. Mujeres que todos los días encuentran la manera de balancear la maternidad, el trabajo, la familia y la vida… y que aun así se sientan con paciencia y dedicación a crear cada pieza con sus manos.

Detrás de cada prenda, hay una mujer real.
Una mamá con sueños, responsabilidades y una enorme fortaleza.

Hoy también quiero celebrar a todas las mujeres que forman parte de este camino de distintas maneras: nuestras artesanas, nuestras clientas, nuestros proveedores y toda nuestra comunidad.

Donde empieza la magia…

Una de las cosas que más me emociona de crear una nueva colección es ver cómo una idea poco a poco cobra vida.

Todo empieza con un boceto… pero lo que realmente me inspira es imaginar cómo cada pieza se transforma una vez que pasa por las manos de nuestras artesanas.

Hay algo muy especial en recibir las piezas finales, conocer a las mujeres detrás de ellas y ver cómo una visión que antes solo existía en mi mente se vuelve realidad.

Para mí, nunca se trata solo de moda o tendencias.Se trata de las historias, la dedicación, la pasión y todo el amor que va tejido en cada puntada.

it asks for time. Real time. You don’t fully get it until you hold it.

Every stitch is placed by hand.
Loop by loop, with intention. You can’t rush it. You can’t skip steps. It grows slowly, stitch by stitch, until it becomes something you can hold.

This is a craft that has lived across generations.
Passed from one woman to another, long before it was ever seen as a trend.

We don’t try to change that.
We honor it—and give it a place in today’s world, without losing what makes it special.

So when you wear it, it goes beyond how it looks.
You’re choosing something shaped by time, by purpose…
something that carries a human story in every stitch.

During the design process, I always find myself thinking about the woman who will wear the piece… where she’ll take it, how it will move with her, what it will make her feel.

When I saw Danie wearing our dress during the ceremony to honor her life, surrounded by her closest friends in such a beautiful setting in Perugia, Italy… it stayed with me. It reminded me, very simply, why I do what I do.

Because in the end, it’s not about buying something new. It’s about feeling connected to it… knowing where it will go with you, and what it will hold.

We’re not just part of what you wear… we’re part of the moments you’ll remember.

Durante el proceso de diseño, siempre pienso en la mujer que va a usar la pieza… a dónde se la va a llevar, qué recordará al verla, cómo la hará sentir.

Cuando vi a Danie usando nuestro vestido, haciendo una ceremonia para honrar un año más de vida rodeada de sus amigas en ese lugar mágico en Italia… se me quedó muy grabado, y me recordó, así, simple, por qué hago lo que hago.

Porque al final, no se trata de comprar algo más. Se trata de sentirte conectada a lo que llevas… de saber a dónde va a ir contigo y qué momentos va a acompañar.

No es solo lo que usas… es lo que vives con ello.

When I design a new piece, I always think about how it’s going to make her feel.

Confident. Strong. Free. Happy.

Because what you wear becomes an extension of you… it carries your energy, your presence, your story.

I want you to feel something real when you put it on.
That quiet confidence of knowing you’re wearing something not everyone else has.

Logos come and go… and yes, there’s something about being recognized.

That moment when you walk into a room and people turn, not because of a name… but because of how it looks on you. That’s what it’s all about.

Segura. Fuerte. Libre. Feliz.

Porque lo que llevas puesto se vuelve una extensión de ti… lleva tu energía, tu presencia, tu historia.

Hay algo profundamente poderoso en lo que no se acelera. En lo que se crea con calma, con historia, con manos que han aprendido de otras manos. Hoy, en el Día del Artesano, honramos a las mujeres que no solo crean piezas hermosas—sostienen un legado que merece ser visto, valorado y protegido.

En Montsera Collective creemos que el verdadero lujo está en lo auténtico: en las técnicas tradicionales, en el tiempo dedicado, en el alma que vive dentro de cada creación hecha 100% a mano. Porque cada pieza no solo se usa… se honra.

The women behind every thread, every stitch, every piece that carries our story.

I also feel so grateful to be surrounded by incredible women who inspire me every day — our artisans, our clients, my family, and the amazing women who cross my path along the way. Women who support one another, cheer each other on, and remind us how powerful it is when we stand together.

Today, and every day, I celebrate them.

Happy International Women’s Day to the incredible women behind Montsera Collective — and to all the women around the world who continue to inspire and support one another. ✨

Las mujeres detrás de cada hilo, cada puntada, cada pieza que lleva nuestra historia.

It’s never been just about a dress. It’s about the woman who wears it. About how she makes it hers, how it becomes part of her story, her identity, her life. Every piece is designed to be lived in, to move with you, to slowly take your shape and your energy.

What I love most is seeing our designs worn by incredible women who inspire us. Women like Jenny — an entrepreneur, strong, thoughtful, and so herself. Watching her wear Montsera and make it her own is exactly why I do what I do.
