A fabulous hand painted ring dish from Giovanni Mosca who has his own pottery studio in Vietri, Southern Italy. I find his designs exceptional and the kiln low temperature firing that makes his pieces so nearly unbreakable. 🔨⁠

Vietri is famous for its ceramics. This ceramic tradition dates back to the Middle Ages and became well established in the 15th century. In fact, Vietri has its own ceramic museum that has pieces dating back at least to the 15th century. ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠

✨Did you know that the house that the store is in was built in the 1930s? It was first opened as an antique store in 1983. So not only do we sell vintage and antique items, but the building is vintage as well!⁠
