When JoAnn Fabrics was going out of business, I purchased one of their pattern cabinets for my sewing room. Since I use my Harry Potter–themed room as my workshop, I decided to transform the cabinet to match the magical aesthetic.
Now it looks like a piece straight out of Diagon Alley—perfect for storing my patterns while adding a bit of wizarding charm to my creative space!

I was honored to be commissioned by Homestead Cemetery to design costumes for their upcoming Living History Tour on August 10th. In a unique collaboration, the cemetery partnered with the Steel Valley Middle and High School Drama Clubs, giving students the opportunity to step into the shoes of historical figures laid to rest on the grounds.
At the final fitting, I watched in awe as the students, dressed in the costumes I created, stood beside each grave and brought these long-gone voices back to life through powerful monologues. Seeing my costumes move, speak, and embody history in such a meaningful setting was nothing short of magical. It was a surreal moment—watching the past walk again, brought to life through fabric, thread, and incredible young talent.

Just finished an alteration that I’m so proud of! My client brought in the most elegant prom gown, and with a few small tweaks, it now fits like a dream. I hemmed the gown for the perfect length and took up the straps to give the bodice a cleaner, more flattering fit.
Also, I have to say, prom season has brought me some of the sweetest clients. Seriously—kind, excited, and a joy to work with. It’s been such a lovely reminder of why I love what I do 💛

This client was such a delight to work with! She needed 6 inches taken off the bottom of her gown and was so patient during the pinning process! I wanted to do something special for her, so I used the removed fabric to sew her a little drawstring bag! She was so happy with how her dress fit and her surprise!
