This set of elephant themed rag quilts, tag blankets, and stuffed elephants for a set of 3 sisters has been sent off and received by their new owners. I hope they have tons of snuggle time with them. I received a picture from their grandpa today of the girls enjoying the shipping box they items arrived in 😂😂

I had the opportunity to work on another mom’s wedding dress transformation to create a wedding day bridal robe for her daughter. The family asked to make a couple extra pieces that could be kept in the family and shared by other members, so the sleeve from mom’s wedding dress became a bridal bouquet wrap. That wrap would need to be adjustable since she didn’t know the size of her bouquet yet. She also wanted a garter that she could keep so I used the satin from mom’s dress and cut down the lace trim a little thinner to make that. Final result was a 3 piece set for the mom and her girls to make new memories together.
I really couldn’t love my job more. Working with these families to create these special keepsakes is such a joy. Thank you to all the families who choose me to be a part of it.

This mom asked me to make a baby blanket from each of her boys (now grown) baby clothes that she had been hanging onto. She asked for a smaller baby size quilt to give to each of her boys for their future families. Each quilt had a combination of baby clothes and baby blankets and each has a monogram which I cut from a shirt that each of the 3 boys had worn.
