Thank you for this incredible opportunity to display three of my paper garments in a six-month exhibition at the Madison Airport. ✈️

Back in 2017, the Read(y) to Wear Fashion Show was one of the first places where I experienced the beauty, creativity, and ingenuity of paper fashion. I never could have imagined how much it would shape the work I create today.

This event challenged me, connected me with inspiring creatives, and most importantly—it made me smile. 💛

I highly recommend attending or participating as an artist in a future show. There’s always something new, exciting, and completely unexpected—it’s never a dull moment.

I’m always tickled pink when a longtime friend (and my kayaking idol) stops by to say hello! 💛

This past Thursday, I attended “Express Yourself” Exhibition, where I had 8 of my upcycled avant-garde garments on display. It was incredible — so many people recognized my name tag, asked thoughtful questions, and some even wanted to purchase pieces! It felt so refreshing to talk about my own work and passions, especially when so much of my time is spent behind the scenes supporting artists, events, and organizations (which I truly love).

But wow… talking about my own work lit a spark again. ✨ It reminded me how much I love creating something tactile and wearable — so who knows, maybe the wheels are turning and a new collection is on the horizon…

Huge thank you to (for making the 3min trek from Wisconsin Rapids 😉), for being my navigator and joining me for the evening, and Olio for hosting such an inspiring exhibition.

I am truly grateful.

It’s been a busy week for this biz! Thursday I made a special trip to Wisconsin Rapids. EIGHT of my Avant Garde Wearables will be displayed at for their exhibition Express Yourself. Opening reception is March 26th from 5:30-7:30! I’ll be there!

is a big fan of my mittens! Nan ordered another batch of custom mittens made from a really cool patchwork scarf and I got them finished right before the March Snow Storm!

I’ll be joining Derek at his studio the last week in October for the in Jefferson!

Huge thank-you to Nan for supporting my small business once again! 💛 She loved her mittens from last year and emailed me saying she needed more. We set up an appointment at our local coffee shop and got the job done! I know seven lucky people will be heading into 2026 with extra warm fingers. 🧤✨

Wisconsin Craft Pop-Up in Sauk City!

Three Wisconsin Craft members - , and .handmade — are teaming up for a festive pop-up at with our friends at ! We’ll be here Saturday & Sunday from 9–1 with upcycled jean jackets, mosaics, wool wearables, and botanical dyeing & stitching. One stop shop, all handmade, and your last chance to buy local for the holidays! 🎁

And today we’re extra excited to be hosting our Wisconsin Craft Member Meet & Greet Holiday Party — can’t wait to see our members and celebrate the season together! 🎉

Saturday and Sunday I’ll be in Sauk City with my Mom and A Botanical Dyery! 🫶🫶🫶 This weekend is for the last minute shoppers. 😉

Squeeze in a little time this Saturday and Sunday the 20th and 21st to visit the studio pop-up with friends in the Ranch and Root Sauk classrooms from 9-1.

We've added 2 more creative friends to the event for a total of 4! Great last minute gift items for friends and family (and maybe even for yourself)! Recycled wool mittens, scarves, hats, dryer balls, and cat toys from SJWHandmade; recycled and embellished Jeans Jackets from Amy Weh, 2D wall art from Jim Galbraith and lots of my botanically dyed fabric items (with a special sale on scarves and shawls).

Buzzed Bean Coffee Co. will be open as will Ranch and Root Sauk for even more goodies. Support multiple local businesses in ONE shopping stop!

Happy to be poppin’ into Sauk City with A Botanical Dyery! We will be at Kipp’s Studio Saturday and Sunday from 9-1 both days.

What’s next, Kipp? Maybe something different…might be ready in time for the Studio pop-up with Friends (as in Sarah of SJWHandmade) this Saturday and Sunday, the 20th and 21st at 707 Water Street inside Ranch and Root Sauk!

I’ll be in Baraboo tomorrow night and Saturday! The Arts Building Downtown is going to be FILLED to the brim with amazing artisans, purveyors, and possibly SANTA!!! 😱

Today the Arts Building, 323 Water Street, Baraboo, Wisconsin sits empty and quiet. Within 48 hours, all three rooms will be a buzz with 60 area "Artisans. Authors and Purveyors of Good Things to Eat". They will sey up their displays of things they make with their own hands. They will offer things for gifting tjose on your list or things to gift yourself. We INVITE you to join us for the 19th Very Merry Holiday Fair sponsored by Helen's Daughters Studio. We open at Noon on Friday and are there until 6 pm. Saturday the doors open at 9 am and it all ends at 4 pm. The Very Merry - a Baraboo Tradition.
