My dearest customers and friends,
It is time to say goodbye to the happiest little fabric shop in Savannah. It is with the heaviest heart that I share with you that Savannah Fabric Co will be closing its doors on January 25. This closing comes with so much grief and leaves a gaping hole in this wonderfully creative city. I will miss you all more than these simple words could ever hope to express, but there is so much good on the horizon and so much peace in my heart. Your kindness, friendship, and loyalty has brightened many a rough small business day for me. That’s no small thing, and I am immensely grateful.
From January 6 until January 25, we will be clearing out inventory (and some fixtures) through our Store Closing Sale. During this sale (in store and online) all printed quilting cottons will be $10/yard, solids will be $7/yard and all other fabrics and notions will be marked down 25%. Most of the quilts and samples in the shop will (finally!) be up for sale as well. I expect inventory to move VERY quickly, so shop early, starting January 6 at 11:00! (Yes that’s a Monday!) I have listed the remainder of our shop hours below, so if you have loved our sweet store, please make time before the end of the month to stop in and bid it farewell or shop online. (I will send a reminder email when the sale begins on January 6!)
Note: Our online store will be closed December 31 through January 5 in preparation for the sale, but it will be back online January 6.
