Hi everyone! I’m making / designing a bridal robe from her mother’s simple bridal gown! It was very difficult because there wasn’t enough fabric to make the whole robe from the bridal gown! So I used her gown for the contrast with a soft ivory satin fabric used for lingerie! The first picture is the mother’s gown! I absolutely used all the fabric, only small pieces of straps was left! So what do you think of my creation!

Hi Everyone! I’m working on 2 vintage wedding gowns!! One is the mother of the bride and the other is the grandmother’s wedding gown which was so old and yellow I had to clean it/whiten it up before I could use it! Okay, the mother gown I redesigned it for the bride to wear as a rehearsal dinner dress! I had to make a bow tie and money bad from the mother’s gown! I made the money bag from her sleeves which I’m so so proud of!! I will make the veil and garter from the grandmother’s vintage gown!!

Hi everyone, this is a bridal I took up and bustle. This gown was so heavy that when I finished, my shoulders were hurting! But is all apart of the job!

Hi everyone! The black gown is this year’s prom gown! I have done this client’s gowns for 3 years in a row! They won’t go anywhere else but Vera’s Alterations! I’m proud to always make them happy! Enjoy this beautiful young lady!

Hi Everyone! This young lady is Ms Georgia! She wanted to wear this black and white gown that was 3-4 inches to small and and also too long! It also needed a new zipper !So I took the velour fabric from the hem, add a triangle shaped fabric in the zipper area to enlarge it! It made it look like it was designed like that! I was so proud of the work! She walked the runway in a New York pageant! There will be a video following this!
