She is so beautiful, and perfect for the stage!

100% silk dupioni white and pink dress with lace detailing, tucks and mother of pearl buttons!

It is fully lined and has crinoline underneath for fullness.

It is on a size 5/6 form; I’d say a true 5 or slim 6, but could maybe fit a 4 if you like the blousier, heirloom styled fit.

Measurements:
13’’ across from ‘pit to pit’
22’’ shoulder to hem (can let out the tuck and there’s extra in the hem, too!)

A wide, pretty sash to tie in the back and chrystal organza sleeves!

It’s a true 5 or slim 6 if looking for a fitted style, but also would work for a more heirloom sized 4—and can be custom hemmed.

Pink and white is such a southernly classic pairing!

I just loved the bow details in this smocking, and the ruffled sleeves and hemline were designed to accent one another. This form is a bit small for this dress, so the sash won’t hang so long when tied on the little girl—but it’s beautiful and I love the airy feel of the ruffles and wide bow!

When people wonder why I love to sew…because I had special women in my life that made dresses for me for weddings, dances, and just because. It was an Alabama “thing” my littlest days were blessed with. I get to share it now with people nationwide and seeing little girls smile like this makes me smile, too because I remember when someone made me a special dress and how special I felt 💕 congrats Kingsley—you’ve been a joy to sew for!
