If someone were to break into your house while you were home, where would you go? This was a question we asked ourselves five years ago, and we didn't like our answers. Hiding under a bed or in a closet wasn't ok. We needed a plan, so we set out to design something that would utilize a space in our home where an intruder would never think to look: our attic. Shortly after we began designing, we re

ad the story of a mom and dad, much like us, who were home with their child when someone broke into their house. They didn't have anywhere to go, so horrendously, all of their lives were brutally taken that day. My eyes welled with tears as I read about this poor family-a young 10 year old boy with his whole life ahead of him, his mom and dad and the agony of what they must have gone though knowing that they couldn't protect their son. I'll never forget the moment when time froze and I thought, what if they'd had our product? We are incredibly excited to introduce Modern Safe Room, a patented assembly that allows you to simply and easily turn your very own attic into a secure safe room.
