Throwback a couple months to the last memorial quilt a made for a dear friend. Her uncle had passed away and she had requested a quilt for her cousin who was pregnant. I used the extra shirt I had to make a romper and beanie for the baby.

One of the most important projects I have ever made was this memory quilt for my daughter for her high school graduation.

18 years of saving shoes and hats, uniforms, dresses and shirts. It was tough cutting all the pieces up. Tears and blood were shed during this process. Hours spent painstakingly making sure that all the measurements were right. Days spent taking stitching out because it didn’t look right. But in the end it came out better than I imagined and I just hope that years from now my daughter can look at this and know that it was made with Love.

Wanted to share the custom t-shirt quilt I made this summer. Each time I make a quilt I learn new tips and tricks

The most rewarding part of creating things is having people who trust me enough to come back time and time again and trust me with their most priceless memories.

My friend Katelyn has trusted me now to make three memory keepsakes in memory of family members she has lost.

Saying goodbye is never easy but it makes me so happy that I can help preserve the memory of a loved one and maybe bring a little comfort to their family.

Here is the latest project I completed right before Christmas. A quilt dedicated to the memory of the beautiful Alice Ladean Robertson. ❤️

Long time since last post, but honestly I have not had much spare time for creating.

My little one grew out of his last Huggie and with the cold weather upon us I thought it was a great time to make him a new one. Not to mention the fact that Joann is having a killer sale.

Everyone in our family has these and they are just the best. We use them every day now that it is cold.
