🏁🔥 Fresh off the machine and headed to Kentucky!

We had the opportunity to build this 2-layer SFI suit for our buddy Taylor Thompson, and we're pretty sure it'll spend more time covered in clay than it will hanging in a closet.

When Taylor isn't holding it down at MGL Auto, you can usually find him somewhere in Kentucky trying to figure out how to make something go faster. From karts to late models, he's been working his way through the ranks and making noise everywhere he goes.

The best part? Taylor and his crew are exactly the kind of people that make racing fun. Good people, good racers, and always up for a laugh when we cross paths at the track.

Let's be honest... some folks spend their weekends mowing the yard. Taylor spends his trying to turn perfectly good race cars into dirt-covered science experiments. 😂

We always look forward to running into Taylor and his crowd on the road, whether it's in the pits, at tech, or standing around discussing why the setup that worked last week suddenly forgot how to race this week.

Thanks for trusting us with your gear, Taylor! We can't wait to see this one getting dirty.

🎨🏁 We were excited to work with Kateea Manis on another custom glove design!

This one is extra special. This year, Kateea let a local student design the roof of her race car, and when we saw it, we knew we had to turn that artwork into a pair of custom gloves. 🔥

That's the kind of stuff that matters. Racing is about trophies and checkered flags, sure... but it's also about inspiring the next generation of racers, dreamers, artists, and future pit-area troublemakers. 😂

If you've ever met Kateea, you know she's one of the biggest supporters of local racing around. One minute she's behind the camera catching your best side, the next she's helping promote a race, cheering on a kid, or finding a way to make somebody's day a little better.

So if you see her at the track this season, do us a favor and tell her how awesome it is that she's investing in the kids and helping grow our racing community. 👏

🎤📸 When she’s not busy being THE media girl of East Tennessee dirt racing, chances are you'll find Kateea Manis loading batteries, chasing stories, snapping photos, posting results, and somehow still making it to the pits before everybody else.

And when the camera gets put away? She's right back with the family, helping wheel the #25 all across East Tennessee chasing checkered flags and making memories.

We were excited to put together this custom glove set for Kateea! 🔥

Let's be honest... if you've raced around here, there's about a 97% chance Kateea has either photographed you, interviewed you, posted your results, or caught you doing something embarrassing in the pits. 😂

We sent one of our jackets to karting legend Barrett Terry for evaluation.

Most companies test theirs in a wind tunnel.

Barrett tested his by trying to relocate a tractor tire.

Results:
✅ Jacket survived.
✅ Barrett survived.
✅ Tractor tire remains undefeated.

🏁 WINNERS SUNDAY 🏁

A little different Winners Sunday this week.

The CustomKartSuits.com Rollin’ Roadshow rolled into the Farm Track last night. We unloaded, chased our tails a little, made some changes, and by the end of the night we found some speed.

But the real winner wasn’t standing in victory lane.

At some point during the day, a little boy—couldn’t have been more than 3 years old—wandered up to our trailer. He loved racing. Loved the karts. Wanted to see everything.

We talked for a few minutes, looked over the karts, and when I asked him if he was going to drive one someday, I got the most excited “YES!” you’ve ever heard as he jumped up and down.

I handed him a few of the stickers like the ones in the picture. We’ve carried them around for a while specifically for moments like that.

His face lit up like he’d just won the biggest race in the country.

The thing is, he didn’t know what it paid to win Pro Whatever.

He didn’t ask what tires we were running.

He didn’t care how many engines were in the trailer.

He didn’t know what prep we were wiping.

He was just a kid at the race track with his dad, having the absolute time of his life.

I saw them a few more times throughout the night. Every time, he was watching. Taking it all in. Learning. Dreaming.

That’s the future of karting.

Not giant payouts racers are struggling to self-fund.

Not tire bills that make your eyes water.

Not arguing on Facebook.

The future is that kid.

So do yourself a favor this week. Order some cheap stickers. Get them from us, get them from your local guy, get them from somewhere online. Throw a handful in your trailer.

Then give one to a kid in the pits.

Watch their excitement.

Watch them smile.

And take a second to remember what this whole thing is really about.

Because one day that little kid might be the one carrying our sport forward.

With M2W goin’ farmin’, it looks like the finest collection of Burris racers in the area are about to assemble for another weekend of speed, chaos, and questionable financial decisions 😂

🏁 Somebody is gonna say “we ain’t changing nothin” and then completely rebuild the kart before hot laps
🏁 Somebody is gonna be late to the grid every single time 😭
🏁 Somebody is bringing 23’s and 24’s “just in case”
🏁 Somebody is going to forget to add weight for the feature
🏁 Somebody is gonna swear the kart is junk after qualifying and win the feature
🏁 Somebody is STILL chasing that one setup from 2023
🏁 Somebody’s trailer lights are flickering like a nightclub parking lot
🏁 Somebody spent more on pit snacks than fuel money
🏁 Somebody is absolutely going to say “it’s just local racing” while stress pacing the pits 😭

We would like to officially congratulate the hardest working employees at CustomKartSuits.com… the UPS and FedEx drivers 😂🏁

At this point they ain’t delivering packages… they’re making qualifying laps through the neighborhood. If you see a brown truck or purple truck sliding sideways into your driveway throwing rooster tails, just know somebody ordered HEAT 🔥📦

These boys are hauling more laps than some of y’all on race day. Mud on the tires. Sponsor stickers everywhere. Delivering drip at approximately 187 MPH.

And whewwww… shipping costs? Just like everything else these days, they’re going THROUGH THE ROOF 😭💸 Pretty sure these drivers are asking for tire prep and fuel money at this point.

BUT… even with all the outside craziness, we’re still gonna keep bringing the best value in custom karting goods. Best designs. Best prices. Best chaos on the internet 🫡🏁
