I just watched a video of an 80 year old healthy female calling the cops and whispering that her son was beating her every day and she couldn’t take anymore. He was a fat pig in his 50’s and I’m so disturbed by this, wishing I hadn’t seen it , but knowing I had to. I know more of what to look for.
I know a person whose mother is terrified of him, mostly when he needs drug money and she doesn’t just hand it over. She’s in her 70’s , he’s in his 40’s.
The man in the video said the exact same things that this person says , when confronted by an outsider. It solidified, for me anyway, that I was right about the situation. And the bruises. And the lack of funds, even though this lady brings in over $3000 per month, and at the time , was paying zero household bills.
They aren’t around me anymore, but how horrible a person is who would raise a hand to his own mother .
I know it happens with daughters too, because people have relayed similar situations that they, themselves, have been in.
Drugs are the main problem , but it takes a special kind of evil to beat and rob your own mom.
I’m seeing more and more of this, and I urge anyone with is going through this to arm yourself and contact the police.
