Lately I’ve been noticing the difference between getting dressed… and styling with intention.
London and Paris both had strong style identities — but in very different ways.
In London, I noticed a sort of polished uniform:
trench coats, tailored layers, loafers, great sneakers… and usually one thoughtful pop — a handbag, scarf, lipstick, or coat.
Paris felt more expressive.
There was still refinement, but with more play:
mixed prints, texture, color, feminine details, vintage influence.
But the common denominator?
Nothing felt accidental.
That’s what stayed with me most.
I still love statement pieces, color, personality, and a little drama ✨
But this trip reminded me that the strongest style usually has clarity underneath it.
Refinement isn’t boring.
It’s knowing what deserves attention.
