Sometimes you can create current looks from pre-loved pieces that may already be in your closet. I loved this Ralph Lauren SS ‘24 runway look and realized that I had a similar bustier (Kenzo Paris 1996) and pinstriped pants (Dolce & Gabbana 2022) already in my wardrobe. I added my treasured Ileana Makris beads and a vintage Gucci bag from TBC and Voila, I feel I got the look I loved so much on the runway. I believe in investing in things you love, mixing them up in unexpected ways and enjoying them over the years. You will get so much more joy from those things already in your closet if you seek inspiration from what’s around you, have the courage to shake things up and try and put a fresh spin on what’s right in front of you! You think you may know our CEO and Founder as the Fashionista she is on instagram but let’s dive a little deeper into some fun & quirky facts about her. Her story is nothing short from an inspiration to all aspiring fashionistas and entrepreneurs!

“A few things not many people know about me:

I was a serious runner for 30 years and completed 8 Marathons. NYC (4 times), Boston (3 times) and San Francisco (1 grueling time).

I earned a black belt in Karate.

I reuse my loose leaf tea to get more than one cup out of each serving.

I started my first business out of college. It was called Spotless Express and it was a dry cleaning service that serviced major hotels in Boston.

I received a scholarship toward earning a Masters degree in Business Administration for Entrepreneurship at Babson College.
I was a literature major as an undergrad at NYU and hate to read as an adult.
I was in a back brace for 23 hours/ day for one year to treat scoliosis when I was a teenager. I had braces on my teeth at the same time.

I grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts and attended a public high school with over 5,000 students. I was voted “best smile” and “best personality” by my classmates.

I can’t swim.

I failed the ice skating exam at 5years old and learned young that not everyone gets a gold star.

I’m 5’2” on a good day.

I was fired from two jobs within a year of graduating from NYU as an undergraduate. I wasn’t great at taking direction hence the need to be the boss.

I was a high-tech headhunter for 18 years and started my own recruiting agency called ThinkHire Inc.

My self-confidence far exceeds my capabilities.

l identify as a Greek blooded person with an American spirit with a French heart.

I am a dual citizen of Greece and the US.

I’m still obsessed with my husband after 20 years of our first meeting.”
