Thought 💭, I’ve been in rooms lately where the whole point isn’t to sell anything or pitch anything — it’s just to sit across from another woman building something of her own and say, I see what you’re doing, and it matters. Those rooms don’t get talked about enough. We spend so much energy on the transactional side of business — the sales, the growth, the metrics — that we forget the thing underneath all of it is still just people who believe in each other enough to keep going. If you’ve ever doubted whether supporting a small business, showing up for another woman’s work, or believing in something before it’s proven itself is worth your time — it is. That belief is what keeps entire communities of makers alive.

I don’t say this enough, so I’m going to say it here where it’s permanent. This was never actually a solo project, even though it started that way — just me, an idea, and a lot of doubt about whether it would go anywhere. Somewhere along the way it stopped being just mine. It became something other people carried too — the ones who showed up to a market before anyone knew my name, the ones who shared a post because they believed in what I was building before there was proof it would work, the ones who bought a piece and told me what it meant to them. I think about that more than people probably realize. None of this exists in a vacuum, and none of it would exist at all without the people who decided to believe in it early.

If you’ve been one of those people quietly, loudly, from the very beginning or just recently… this is me telling you that you built this with me. I haven’t forgotten it. Thank you 🙏🏽

Every time I step forward in this work I remember something important — wisdom doesn’t arrive all at once. It arrives piece by piece, experience by experience, until one day you realize you have something worth sharing.

Snow season is coming to an end and show season is here. Find me at the Heard Indian Market D-18
