This beautiful quilt was made by my friend Deb, this was her FIRST quilt! Amazing! Not only was it her first quilt but she changed up the pattern to make it her own, tons of talent here. I especially love the colors she chose and the back and binding truly make it pop. Her choice of a quilting pattern and thread color really enhanced the design. I can’t wait to help Deb stitch more endings 🙂🧵🪡

Just a fun little longarm quilting fact. As a courtesy I offer to trim all of the quilts I do, so if I trim your quilt or bind it for you, you might not see this. Some people choose to trim their own quilt and this would be on the side. Every time I start a quilt and every single time I need a new bobbin I do a little test run on the edge of your quilt to make sure the tension and stitches are just how they should be ✨🪡🙂 You sew the story, I stitch the ending

My very good friend Heather made this last Halloween, everything about it is adorable but especially the binding! We quilted it with bats and witches which turned out so cute, but honestly my favorite part is how she didn’t cut off the points and did the binding! It’s not a small quilt, it was a lot of work but definitely worth it 👻🧙‍♀️🦇

Our amazing Aunt Ayala came to visit us over the last week, I was not happy she had to go home today ☹️ She made this quilt and brought it up for me to put on Penelope. Her quilts are so beautiful and then she adds absolutely beautiful appliqué and embroidery. We used a leaf pattern so it wouldn’t detract from the quilt at all and it was perfect! A little while back we went to visit her and in a small second hand shop she found the prettiest antique tea towel. Look at this gorgeous pillow case she turned it into for me. This woman is absolutely one of the most talented people I have ever known, she’s taught me so much over the years and I just love spending time with her ❤️ definitely one of my favorite people 💕🪡🧵

Without a doubt my absolute favorite part of quilting is finding the perfect E2E for a quilt and then the actual process of quilting it on Penelope. But I also love picking out a special label to put on my quilt! is definitely one of my favorite businesses to get them from, I found this pack at the sweetest little quilt shop called Stitch when I was visiting family in Ferndale Ca. 🏷️🧵

I’ve been working on this quilt for a long time, this block is called a Flying Geese. It was on my quilting bucket list….. turns out it’s not my favorite to do 😆I wanted to make sure the E2E didn’t over power the quilt itself. Sometimes you do want the quilting to really jump out but not with this one and I think it turned out beautifully 🙂

I am absolutely in love with this quilt made by my friend Beth! Everything about it, the Tilda Songbird fabric, the amazing pattern, and the E2E called Clam Clouds she chose. Even the thread shows up boldly in the background of the white so it makes it seem like the birds are flying in the clouds! I actually have this fabric and pattern and I’m going to be a copy cat and make the exact same quilt 😆

Yes this is longarm quilting related! I saw .mimosas make these last week, it inspired me to make a floral quilt with a flowery E2E pattern all over it! Maybe something small for a wall hanging or a table runner? I’ll share it as soon as I get it going and pick the E2E pattern, I’m definitely making more of these to hang in a window 🌸🧵🪡
