STORY TIME: I just wrapped up my last market of the year! I’ve had sooo much fun doing pop up markets this summer and getting to meet so many of my amazing followers, meeting new ones and working alongside some other amazing small businesses!

Since having Brightyn a year and a half ago, our journey has looked a little differently than planned. For those of you that have followed me since the beginning you know I had left my corporate job to move back to my home state of Indiana with plans of being a stay at home mom, wife, with more babies in our future. But, that quickly changed as I now find myself grinding day in and day out to take care of my daughter all on my own. I decided to move back to Seattle in January and go back to my old corporate job(that I loved), running my business b. capri, and making the tough decision of becoming a single mom.

This past year has been one heck of a journey through lots of ups and downs, learning to run a small business and try to be the best mama to Brightyn all while feeling guilty for having to work full time and markets on the weekend and feeling I’m missing out on moments with my baby girl.

That is why I’m taking the rest of the summer away from the weekend markets and I am going to enjoy these moments with Brightyn I’ll never get back. One thing I’ve learned though all of the struggle and heartbreak is that God has a plan and everything happens for a reason. Live in the present but grind for your future. Thank you to everyone that has supported me, Brightyn and b. capri over this last year! Words aren’t enough to express how grateful I am! 🙏🤍
