Turns out I wasn’t just building a retail store.
I was building resilience.
This isn’t the outcome I pictured when I picked up a paint roller for the first time in this series. There have been a lot of highs, a lot of lows, questionable paint decisions, and more lessons than I ever expected to learn.
Some days I feel excited about what’s next. Other days I catch myself wondering what I could have done differently. I think both can be true.
I had the courage to try something that scared me. I learned, I adapted, and now I am making the best decision I can with what I know today.
That isn’t failure. This is redirection.
I’m incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to chase this vision. Not everyone gets the chance to build something they believe in, and I don’t take that privilege for granted.
To everyone who followed this renovation series, left encouraging comments, shared our videos, or believed in the vision when I was struggling to believe in myself... thank you.
You helped carry me through this chapter more than you’ll ever know.
The storefront is still coming. It just won’t be at this address.
Until then, many of the products we planned to carry in the shop are available at loveliparu.com. Rep codes now apply to all non–Love Liparu products as well.
So... if you’d like to help fund whatever questionable renovation decisions I make next, we’d love your support.
This chapter is closing. The story isn’t.
And don’t worry... I still have two more renovation videos to post before we officially start dismantling everything. Apparently I really committed to documenting the entire experience.
Love,
Sarah + Liparu 🤍
