UNFRAMED is built on more than garments.

DJ Alan Wives aka Alan Szymkowiak is shaping the runway soundtrack with the dark, alternative sounds that have long made him part of Seattle’s underground music scene.

Elijah Vick, aka Tylerhipnosis is handling A/V + sound engineering, connecting sound, visuals, lighting, and movement so every cue lands when it needs to.

Together, Alan and Elijah are helping turn UNFRAMED into something you don’t just watch. You feel it🖤

The runway gets the final reveal, but the garments take a whole team to get there.

Every UNFRAMED look starts with my artwork and sketch concepts, then goes through revisions, problem-solving, construction, and plenty of “okay, what if we tried this instead?”

Tatiana and Andreya are two of the talented garment makers helping turn those ideas into pieces that can actually move on a body. Andreya created the first Alter Ego gown, while Tatiana constructed our dramatic paneled tapestry skirt and the new pieces created for the UNFRAMED collection.

Those original garments debuted at the Cannonball Arts Fall Fashion Review and will return at Bumbershoot alongside the rest of the collection.

Then, once showtime hits, Celeste, Eddie, and Audrey take over backstage.

As our dressers, they’ll organize full looks, protect the garments, manage quick changes, track accessories, and make sure every model steps onto the runway ready and confident.

They may not be the people you see under the lights, but their work is all over the show.

She’s Baaack!! 🛬

Andreya is coming back to Seattle specifically to help us bring UNFRAMED to the Bumbershoot runway, and yeah… this is a major flex.

Andreya is the couturier, stylist, garment maker, creative consultant, and fashion force behind Be Meticulously Eccentric.

Oakland-born and Seattle-raised, she currently resides in Las Vegas. Formally trained in pattern drafting, draping, and garment construction at Seattle’s New York Fashion Academy, she’s built a career defined by bold silhouettes, fearless color, couture-level craftsmanship, and a point of view that is instantly recognizable.

With more than a decade of editorial and runway fashion experience, Andreya has designed custom garments, styled high-impact fashion moments, presented her own collection during New York Fashion Week, and earned recognition as one of Seattle’s most distinctive alternative fashion creatives.

So I we say she knows what belongs on a runway, I mean she has literally done the work at the highest level.

Andreya also constructed the very first Alter Ego tapestry gown, helping transform my original artwork and sketch concept into the garment that launched this entire runway era for Alter Ego Expressions in 2025.

Now she is returning as our Senior Fashion and Runway Consultant to support styling, silhouettes, runway presentation, and the overall visual impact of the collection.

Because sometimes you need a second set of eyes.
And sometimes you need the kind of eyes that have seen New York Fashion Week, and know exactly what it takes to make a look hit from every angle.

Spaceship aka M.E. Meticulously Eccentric Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival - Seattle

🚨 SEATTLE, WE’RE BUILDING OUR RUNWAY CREW FOR BUMBERSHOOT 🚨

Alter Ego Expressions is recruiting Production Assistants / Stage Hands to volunteer join the team bringing **UNFRAMED** to the Bumbershoot Fashion District.

You’ll work directly alongside our **choreographer and show runner** to help:

• Coordinate models and movement artists
• Support stage blocking and transitions
• Manage performer cues
• Assist with moving, placing, and managing runway props
• Keep rehearsals organized
• Help every reveal hit exactly as planned

This is a hands-on role for someone who stays calm under pressure, takes direction well, communicates clearly, and is ready to move when the production moves.

**Required availability:**

Rehearsals: August 11 (4-6p), August 24 (2-4), and September 4 (TBD)
Show days: September 5 and 6

No runway production experience is required, but reliability, focus, and a strong team mentality are nonnegotiable. Must be available for rehearsals & show days.

Mason is officially stepping away from the drawing board and onto the runway.

He’ll be making his modeling debut with Alter Ego at Bumbershoot, which is honestly a little wild because this is very much outside his usual lane.

Mason recently graduated from Cornish College of the Arts and is an incredibly talented comic-book artist. He already understands character design, storytelling, body language, and how small details can completely change the way a character comes across.

That’s a big part of why I knew he could pull this off.

He has the height, presence, and natural confidence to carry the looks we designed for him, but I also love that he was willing to try something completely new and trust the process.

He also happens to be my special person✨, so getting to share this experience with him means a lot to me.

We’re both artists, but usually our work lives in very different spaces. For UNFRAMED, those worlds finally get to overlap.

I’m very lucky he agreed to trade comics for the runway for one weekend.
