Meet Krystin Norman ()!
Krystin has been a part of the Arc’teryx PNW team for the past 9 years representing the brand as a ski & climb athlete and active community contributor in her respective sports. Krystin embodies the technical excellence and aspirational outdoor presence of Arc’teryx; she’s a coffee quality sensory scientist, professional freeride and backcountry skier, rock climber, mountain biker, outdoor product tester, ski coach, and dedicated to creating opportunities to uplift those around her. If you’ve met Krystin, you already know that she is dialed, highly skilled, and passionate.
A large part of Krystin’s community involvement has included volunteer work with non-profits like , , and with a focus on accessibility for women of color to participate and progress to high levels in snow sports. As the founder of the SheJumps Snowpack Scholarship Program and the Director of Athlete Development for EDGE Outdoors freestyle skiing programs, Krystin is doing the work to make big changes in skiing as someone who wants to make the sport holistically better for all. Her skiing and advocacy work has been featured in films like Nexus and Young Bucks and in print publication with Powder, The Ski Journal, & Seattle Times. Based in North Bend, WA, Krystin spends a good amount of time in the city of Seattle but prioritizes exploration and adventure time in the Cascades with her life partner, Peter.
