This works. Digital painting techniques allow for a lot of leeway, but it's easy to get lost down the myriad rabbit holes on offer. Working from some of the same restrictions as analog media may seem arbitrary, but it's a fantastic tool for channeling your creative energy where it *should* go: the actual painting, not fiddling with your tools before you paint.

Just because you CAN pick from millions of colors definitely does not mean that you SHOULD. Here's a handy digital painting tip for you from me and kylebrush.com
