This is a free event to provide people with tools and guidance to fix their clothes. Local menders Ravenna Koenig and Sean Callahan will be on hand to help people brainstorm the best way to fix their damaged garments, teach techniques, and offer advice and tips. JRAT x Prairie Underground 3.0 Collab

For our third collaboration, JRAT designer Janelle Abbott transformed 150+ pairs of unwearable Prairie Underground Glove Leggings into zero-waste denim tops, bottoms, jackets, dresses, and accessories.

Using reclaimed Prairie Underground garments and JRAT’s signature reconstruction methods, each piece is one-of-a-kind and designed to honor the labor, materials, and energy behind clothing production.

Janelle Abbott (JRAT) is a Seattle-based designer working with reclaimed materials and zero-waste methods. Rooted in garment production and sustainability, her work transforms discarded clothing into bold, labor-conscious pieces that challenge fast fashion.
