What is Lunar Mansion?
Inspired by my passions for belly dance and costuming, Lunar Mansion is a place as much as it is a clothing line. The Lunar Mansion is a sanctuary, a haven, a 24/7 celebration where all are welcome to enter and doff their masks to reveal their essential nature and shine like the celestial being they truly are...or, y’know, try on some novel and intriguing new masks.
Each piece is designed, patterned, and constructed with my own hands in Seattle’s glamorous and chic White Center neighborhood (and if you’re a Seattle native, I hope you weren’t drinking anything when you read that; if so, I apologize for the liquid that just sprayed out of your nose...sorry/not sorry). I unite professional quality construction with inspiration from the divine to create clothing that elevates the mood of the wearer...and everyone who sees them. While some pieces are designed for female bodies (such as bralettes in the Voluptuous silhouette), many items may be worn by beguiling creatures of all shapes and genders. I like to think of it as a uni-sexy aesthetic.
Lunar Mansion features two silhouettes to offer the best drape, fit, and comfort to a wide variety of body shapes: Voluptuous and Svelte. Look for different cuts of the same style to enhance and flatter endomorphs, ectomorphs, and mesomorphs (way more fun to type than apple, pear, banana...I don’t even know).
