My hunch that closing a business would be nowhere near as easy or as energizing as opening one has been proven. However, it’s not without its own light. Today was the last day I’ll say, “I’m going down to the shop.” Before leaving my keys, I stood in the same spot from where I snapped a photo of the door announcing the move in 2014, which hit hard but the reality of timelines and the pace of day makes it go by in a blink. However, physically moving everything out makes the change more real than imagined. Again, thank you for all of it. Here’s to what’s ahead, for all of us.
