If you’ve ever tried on a wedding dress and thought, *“Wait… this can’t be my size,”* you’re not alone. Bridal sizing is different from your everyday clothes—and it has *nothing* to do with your worth or your beauty.

In fact, many gowns run 1–2 sizes smaller than street sizing (yes, even if it’s custom or designer). So if you typically wear a size 8, don’t be surprised if you’re fitting into a bridal 10 or 12—and that’s perfectly normal.
