It's wedding season!
People like before and after photos. During this time of year, it's hard to get those. First off, I never post the gown or suit before the wedding. Often times, the bride does not want a before photo posted. I take them reference, and I always respect the wishes of clients.
My content this time of the year either comes from past clients (with permission) OR my own personal projects that I do instead of sleeping.
In other words: I'm still taking all kinds of clients. 🫶

I'm currently booking for bridal clients.
4 years ago, I was commissioned to make a wedding gown. The fabric was hand-woven by the mother of the bride! I was terrified to cut into it. I made a muslin, a wearable muslin, and the final gown. The gown turned out so nicely, I was asked to make a matching vest for the groom!

Daisies are springing up everywhere! As a sewing business, I'm committed to promoting sustainable fashion. I have this dress that I love. I got stains on the front. So, I embroidered flowers onto it. This is called visible mending. I can wear one of my favorite dresses again while keeping another item out of a landfill! What things can you mend and keep using?

Hello!!!! I had to the time off from severe health issues. I'm happy to announce that I'm back!

This is a recent client. The front of the dress came up 3 inches higher and was narrower. So, I cut off the scallop edging, widened the neckline, lowered the neck line and lining, and appliqued the edging back on. The fit is much more flattering now! Fitting your clothing changes pieces into favorites. Be Moore You!!!

Health update: My friend bought me flowers recently to cheer me up. I'm not doing great. I was severely depressed for about 6.5 months. Even though I was finally able to shake that, I started getting back pain. I thought it was just sore muscles from not being very active. It increased overnight immensely. Now my tummy is tender, too. I never get tummy aches. The urgent care that I can go to doesn't open until 10 am. So, I'm laying down until then. For now, I do not have a fever... but I will need to cancel appointments for now.

A friend of mine is a professional dancer. He often needs back seams and knees repaired on his practice pants. I added patches on one for reenforcement. I replaced the missing waist drawstring, too. He's a vibrant soul. ❤️

Do you have pants that don't fit at the waist? I can fix that.

Due to different seam styles, prices vary. This is a rolled seam which is the most common on jeans.
