Rapha Seattle’s FAR is just a couple weeks away, Saturday August 3rd.

As part of a series of rides throughout North America, FAR is designed to offer unexpected adventures on lesser-known roads, helping RCC members create long-lasting memories and friendships by way of the bike.

RCCSEA’s FAR will take riders out to the Kitsap Peninsula where you’ll ride along the Hood Canal, a fjord carved by the glaciers of the last ice age, and get to explore the backroads of the Tahuya Hills.

There are still a few spots available for this amazing adventure. Information and registration on the RCC App.

This year, Rapha introduces FAR for the Rapha Cycling Club. Spanning eight cities in the United States from June through October, FAR promises an unexpected adventure on the lesser-known roads of America. FAR will prove to be a challenge, but one that’s not out of reach. Participants will experience the truest meaning of resilience, and forge new friendships along the way.

To ride FAR, view the calendar and join the RCC via the link in our bio.

Why HiFi?

Abe at .cc just visited HiFi’s shop and published a peek behind the curtain in their Shop Drop series.

HiFi offers premium carbon and aluminum wheels, designed and assembled in Portland. You’ll see HiFi hoops used by three-time U.S. National Cyclocross Champion Clara Honsinger as well as Ron Lewis of .cc.

“You can spend more money, but we don’t think you’ll find anything superior. Wheels are systems and HiFi is involved in each part as well as the assembly process.” - Josh Liberles, owner of HiFi.

Species - Open U.P All Road Gravel Bike
Age - 1 year
Weight - Approximately 17 pounds
Color - Deep navy blue with RCC livery
Location - Rapha Seattle Clubhouse

What my foster friends at Rapha Seattle say about me:

I’m a frame size small, and looking for an enthusiastic rider between 157-170 cm or 5’1” to 5’5”. I enjoy shredding on all road types and conditions, it’s what I’m made for! I’m fitted with 35 mm tires currently, but I have a tire clearance of 40mm, perfect for a date with some deep gravel. I have a fancy 1x13 Campagnolo Ektar groupset, 42t chainring and a 9-42t cassette.

I’m up to date on all vaccinations and have a clean bill of health from Cascade Bicycle Studio. I’ve been well taken care of by the Rapha bike hire program but I’m looking for my forever home now.

My adoption fee is 1,950 Euros. I’d love to meet you!

What my foster friends at Rapha Seattle say about me:

I’m a frame size large, and looking for an enthusiastic rider between 178-190 cm or 5’10” to 6’2”. I’m a true stiff and light race bike, but I’m versatile too, and come with a tire clearance of up to 33 mm. I have a fancy 1x13 Campagnolo Ektar groupset, 42t chainring and a 9-42t cassette.

I’m up to date on all vaccinations and have a clean bill of health from Cascade Bicycle Studio. I’ve never been ridden, and have a seatmast that’s ready to be cut to fit my forever rider.

My adoption fee is 3,500 Euros. I’d love to meet you!

Join us at to roll up our sleeves for a Dirty Bike Party. Space is limited, so RSVP right away via the RCC App.

Cleaning is the first, and most fun, step of bike refurbishment. We’ll help out by stripping and cleaning donations so the mechanics can focus on functionality.

Thursday, November 16 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.

Afterward, we’ll gather at Marination for food and beverages. Please join us to socialize even if you can’t make the Dirty Bike Party.!

The Clubhouse is a donation hub for Bike Works to drop off bikes and parts. Donating a bike will help make another rider’s Christmas bright. Get a free coffee and 10% discount on your purchase.
