Celebrating the Fall Equinox with a little bit of travel overseas! ⛵🚐🐏

“We wore our Woolly long sleeves and un**es pretty much everyday for the entire trip. I was even sleeping in mine most nights." With highly changeable weather and fewer crowds, fall is a moody shoulder season. Our friends Sierra and Alex decided to take advantage of the off-season rates and dramatic light.

“Sierra never once thought I smelled. We walked around the villages and hiked almost every day.

It was cold, windy and pouring rain. There was a boat docked right outside a gift shop, you could see it was one of those boats where you sit on the uncovered upper level... so we were committing to getting soaked. We gave each other this like silent look of "Is this a bad idea?" "Should we just book one for tomorrow?'... Which turned into "We’re here now, so why not!" and booked it with 1 minute to spare.

It was late season, so the boat was nearly empty and the water was rough, but the cliffs from below were insane... We learned more about Faroese sheep farming, biodiversity and local traditions in that hour than anywhere else on the trip. Easily one of our favorite memories."

Monday Mood.

Did you know that wool has been a part of human civilization for over 10,000 years? During the medieval times, wool was known as 'white gold'. Spain bred the merino sheep until they made their way to Australia in the late 17th century, where we still source our Merino today!
