Are your do-it-yourself balloon artists properly licensed and INSURED? LIABILITY is a BIG DEAL friends! Do they possess workers' compensation insurance? It is essential to consider premises and off-premises liability, as property owners can be held fully liable in the event of an accident. The distinction between hiring a professional and an unlicensed individual, such as a handyman or at-home service provider, lies in the assumption of liability, which is reflected in the price difference. Although the take-home is 100% profit, it’s not put back into the business generally in a way of that. I have no choice, but to put it back into the business and make sure that I am properly insured. Especially for Helium and compressed gas on the premises. People tend to forget about liability until it is an issue and a lawsuit. If you own a big business, it is something you should definitely be thinking of because you are more likely to get sued the larger your establishment. It’s the truth and America is an expensive “Sue Happy” kind of place unfortunately. Don’t end up in a bad situation over $50-$80 difference. Prices are generally not cheaper. You just forget to check and assume. Do not do that. I price matched ACME for helium and do it yourself arch workers work for the same price

As we head into our busy summer season at our new location on Route 50 in Ocean View, I’m looking for one — possibly two — dependable adults (18+) to join the team at Patti’s Party World! This is a BALLOON store. You will be blowing up many many balloons 🎈 and taking tons of phone orders and gathering all supplies for balloon orders as they come. Professionalism on the phone and in person is a must.
This is a fast-paced balloon and party environment, especially during the summer months at the Jersey Shore. I need people who can keep up, stay organized under pressure, multitask, be artistic, match 👀, work well with your hands and work well with customers.

📅 Hours Needed:

* Thursday: 10AM–4PM
* Friday: 10AM–4PM
* Saturday: 9:30AM–4PM
* Occasional Sundays as needed

And let me be honest about what this job actually is:

This is NOT the kind of retail job where you stand around folding shirts and scrolling your phone 😅
This place moves FAST.

One minute you’re answering phones, the next you’re taking an order for 50 balloons, helping a customer at the counter, blowing up balloons, organizing deliveries, and trying to keep the helium from attacking you at the same time 😂🎈

You have to be able to:
✔ multitask
✔ think quickly
✔ stay calm under pressure
✔ talk to customers
✔ learn pricing/products
✔ work FAST during summer rushes

You do NOT need balloon experience.
I can teach the right person everything.

I’ve had younger people interested, but realistically I need grown-ups in here. The environment moves too quickly, and minors would require adult supervision at all times.

Creative people do well here!! People with good personalities do well here!! People who like chaos and fun and staying busy usually LOVE it here 😂
There are so many great people and great conversations, moments, and memories made in this store and I can guarantee you will fall in love with it 🥰

Some days are exhausting.
Some days are hilarious.
Some days feel like an episode of The Bear… but with balloons 🎈
