NO BURNING ON SUNDAY MARCH 15th and MONDAY MARCH 16th 2026!
RED FLAG/ HIGH FIRE DANGER!
Due to recent rainfall across Guadalupe County, the County Burn Ban will be temporarily lifted for one week. Residents may conduct outdoor burning during this period through March 15, 2026.
Beginning March 16, 2026, the burn ban will go back into effect and outdoor burning will once again be prohibited in Guadalupe County.
If you choose to burn during this temporary lift, please ensure you follow all Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) outdoor burning rules, including:
• Burn only natural vegetation (no trash, construction materials, or household waste)
• Maintain constant supervision of the fire
• Keep water, tools, or equipment available to control the fire
• Do not burn during high winds or unsafe conditions
• Extinguish the fire completely before leaving the area
Even though conditions have improved, fire risk can still change quickly, so please burn responsibly and with caution.
