As you might not know, my mother (the other Bag Lady), passed away in February this year. It was a rough winter for me, my husband was in the hospital, and I was feeling very lonely. My daughter announced at Christmas time, I was going to have my first grandbaby in June. REDEMPTION! BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER! After my husband was finally home from a 3-month stay in the hospital in Seattle, we decided he needed to be closer to better health care and I would like to be close to my grandbaby who is coming soon. So, I will be closing the Bag Ladies of Sequim WA shop in Sequim end of July. BUT the website will still be available for online orders.....I WILL STILL be sewing these fun slippers and purses in IDAHO. YEP.... thought I'd never live in Idaho. Seemed like every time I drove through that state my car had issues. My daughter laughs and says " Maybe it's because your supposed to be here".....bahahahaha!
SOOOOOOO.... Looks like I'll be a "SPUD". GREAT news for all my customers in WA.....no sales tax for you guys when you order online.
BAD news for the Idaho customers......sales tax. Well at least it's at a reasonable tax rate! I am actually looking forward to the new adventure, I'll be closer to all my gal pals in SLC!

As you all know the crazy lifestyle we have been given,has given me a new way to look at it. If you look at it like a stay vacation and get the yard work and house cleaning that I know I have neglected for a while. Think of how much better your home will be when we get back to our "new normal".

We have a total of 30 exciting and creative artists all local artists. See all their amazing works, many wearable some for the home and garden.

SAD....LAST selling day in our cute little shop today March 23rd.

BUT...WAY EXCITED about our new move to our LARGER SHOP, it's twice the size so we can accommodate more fabulous local talent.

We are moving to the front of the building RIGHT ON WASHINGTON STREET!!!....No more "treasure hunt" trying to find our shop.

NEW SHOP OPENS APRIL 1st......lol No foolin' We'll have more invited artisans joining our little band of crazy artists! Lots of items for guys, and of course always items for ladies. SOOOOO much to list, this will be a must see n' shop for locals and tourists alike. We will also be offering free gift wrapping...and we have an artist with original greeting cards. So it will be an easy one stop shop for that "special one of kind gift". As usual, these are all local creators displaying their fabulous creations....come check it out April 1st!

It's OFFICIAL! WE ARE OPEN! The new shop opened Thursday August 4th at 11 am..........barely! Stop in and check us out. The shop offers not only The Bag Ladies of Sequim, WA slippers, headbands and handbags, BUT there will be various other artist work for sale too. So much to tell and show you.....you'll need to stop by.

The new shop is coming along, I'll have 6 other fabulous artist in the shop displaying their creations. We're all getting excited!! Just gotta get through our Lavender Weekend Festival. The Bag Ladies of Sequim, WA will be out at the Jardin Du Soliel lavender farm.....an absolutely BEAUTIFUL location, and wonderful owners too. Jordan and Paul do an awesome job with their festivities. If you haven't experienced it......you should. Paul's Rock band plays Sunday night....can't wait...their really good!

The Bag Ladies of Sequim WA are having a great time this year with the new styles, slip on's, new men's style slippers, headbands, and baby booties...... but this head cold I seemed to have received from my husband......This is where I draw the line of SHARING Sweetie. I just can't seem to knock it out of my system. I AM hoping to be at the Sequim Farmers Market this weekend June 11th for great sales. But I don't know, I feel awful!
