I am a native Mainer who now resides in Minnesota. I am Mom to Beckett, Sutton and Elliette so I don’t have much free time these days, but when I do I usually spend it creating new things. I learned how to knit as a child and can remember my mother casting on and then letting me take over. I would knit square “pot holders” with my little pink, plastic, knitting needles. As I grew up I lost interes
t and went about my other interests. After having my children, not sure if it was the mother in me coming out or what, but my interest started to come back. I started knitting again, even taught myself how to cast on and off (since my Mom was back in Maine and could no longer help me). In doing this it opened the flood gates of my creativity. I taught myself how to crochet by watching video tutorials and haven’t looked back since. I have sort of become obsessed with making, and I’m sure that my husband would say that is an understatement, as my workroom is full of endless amounts of supplies to make just about anything. The possibilities are endless, now to find the time!!
