Michael and I have been working on a project!

I’m so excited to introduce The Liberty Street Little Free Pantry Shamokin, PA!

Shamokin, PA 17872

The little free pantry stands for “Give what you can, take what you need”. Whether a need for food or a need to give, mini pantries help feed neighbors, nourishing neighborhoods.

We’re so excited about this project, and we’re asking our community to spread the word to make this a huge success! We all know this community comes together, especially in a time of need. This last year has been so hard on so many people and we’re hoping this simple gesture could give at least 1 person in need a few items in their pantry.

To jump start this project, we have asked our friends and family for help to stock the pantry with nonperishable items! They got us off to a great start with items like cereal, pasta, beans, canned goods and much more! We’re asking the community to keep this project in mind and pass the word along to make this successful!

At this time, I would also like to announce... we’re dedicating this project to a loved one who had an infectious laugh and enough kindness to save this world. I know she’s watching over this little blessing nook, and will guide anyone here who needs it.

Also note: this is filled right now as a soft opening! We’re asking for any feed back, and will be 100% completing this project within the next week! But it will be 24/7 and can be used now!

Some “rules”

-Take: please feel free to take what you can use! I will do my best to monitor things regularly!

-Donate: nonperishable/unopened food items, baby care items(unopened diapers/ unopened formula)

‼️Please do not leave anything sharp (razors/knives), alcohol, homemade foods, expired foods, unlabeled foods, non factory sealed foods, or medications‼️

**edit, as donation requests are pouring in, please remember to spread the word to those in need. We only have so much space inside this pantry**

It's that time! Every year I try my best to give back as many times as I possibly can.

A portion of every sale and order in the month of February will be donated to the Vestibular Disorders Association. The Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) provides educational and support resources to people with inner ear and brain balance disorders.

A few people in my life live with vestibular disorders, and VeDA has been a wonderful resource. Go check it out for yourself here 👇
