Recently I found this in an old file. I believe it was the first display that F.L. Borden created around 1939.
"While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,

Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the praries,
To the oceans, white with foam
