tuesday morning:
every so often we end up with a bunch of bread ends in our fridge. all the little crumbly bits and parts that weren’t good enough for a sandwich. today I turned them into baked french toast. I layered the bread and berries into the pan and poured 6 eggs whisked with milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg over the top and baked it for about 35 minutes at 375. I added a few little pats of butter to the top for good luck. it turned out delicious and was a nice way to use up bread scraps!
