📣CONSIGNOR SOFTWARE UPDATE...It's the last day of a month that seemed to have lasted FOREVER. Maybe it's just the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy getting to me, I'm not sure 🤣🤷♀️
Anyway, we are smack dab in the middle of transferring all consignors AND inventory over to our NEW SOFTWARE 🥳🥳
562 consignors and 19,800 inventory items and Consign Cloud is doing ALL the work from a simple spreadsheet I provided them🤯 I was worried they would be like, "Sorry, Ma'am that's too much" or tell me I'd have to upgrade to the higher, more expensive subscription.
They didn't.
In fact, the rep said, "that's a pretty standard amount for large stores in metro cities like Plato's Closet and Clothes Mentor, who are also our clients"
🫣🤯 WHAT....?? Did I really just get told I am on par with those BIG chain consignment stores in BIG cities like Denver, LA, SAN DIEGO, ETC????
Does my rep know I am in a TINY rural town literally in the middle of nowhere?!?! Biggest larger city is 2 hours away in every direction?? That our whole county's population is smaller than some apartment complexes I've lived in... 🤣🤣
What he said was simply meant to reassure me that my spreadsheet was sufficient and that he is used to this amount of volume. I took it a whole other way, which makes me so, so proud.
As I continue to prep the store for my absence (maternity leave), all I ask from all of you is your continued support, patience, and grace. Please trust my team and Ashley of Little Spurs Kids Co to run the show while i am gone.
New software should be live by this Wednesday 9/2. We may have to be closed half of the day to do a final upload, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
Checks and store credit will be available for August sales, as usual, on 9/10.
Friendly reminder...we don't mail consignor checks. Never have, never will.
