Yesterday’s Not-So-Spooky Pop-Up Shop was everything I ever dreamed of and more! Our first big pop-up with so many other small businesses, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day!

The most AMAZING customers, the sweetest little costumes.. the cutest fur babies, and an incredible group of small business owners. 🖤

🧸❄️ ATTENTION, MY WINTER ECZEMA FAMILIES!

It’s that time of year again! Windows are closing, the heat is kicking on, and we’re layering up with blankets and warmer clothing.

I have my summer eczema customers, and then I have my winter eczema customers. And my winter regulars are already starting to reach out!

Over the past three years, I’ve spent hours talking with so many of you. I’ve built relationships with your families, gotten to know your children, and spent hours trying to help you piece together what could be triggering their eczema flare-ups.

In my personal experience with BubbleRae® families, there’s been one common denominator in my recurring winter eczema cases: DUST MITES!

When I suspect dust mites could be contributing, I encourage parents to speak with their child’s allergist about testing. And time after time, families have come back telling me their children tested positive for dust mite allergies! This is exactly why I DO NOT take dust mite allergies lightly! After seeing this pattern repeatedly among my own customers, it’s something I encourage families to investigate.

🤎 IT’S NOT ALWAYS ABOUT THE SOAPS AND CREAMS. SOMETIMES IT’S ABOUT WHAT’S SURROUNDING YOUR CHILD!

🧸 DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN FREEZE STUFFED ANIMALS?

Freezing stuffed animals for at least 24 hours can kill many dust mites! Freezing doesn’t remove the allergens they leave behind, that’s why washing afterward is important.

I love the idea of freezing your child’s favorite stuffed animals and then washing them.

Why? Water temperatures of at least 130°F (54°C) are recommended for killing dust mites. But selecting HOT on your washing machine doesn’t necessarily mean it reaches that temperature!

✔️ Check your washing machine’s model to see how hot its cycles actually get.
✔️ Don’t increase your home’s water heater temperature just for laundry. That can create a serious scalding risk.
✔️ If stuffed animals can’t tolerate hot water, freezing followed by washing according to the care label is another option.

It might seem like something as simple as a box to someone else, but to me, it’s so much more than that… It’s a reminder of how far we’ve come.

For the first time in a long time, I feel like I can finally focus on the little things. 🤍

Between everything we went through with Kai and then everything that followed with Raelyn & Caleb, the last almost six years of my life have honestly been a complete blur.

I was raising four kids, going to school full-time, navigating one thing after another with my children’s health, and somewhere in the middle of all that, BubbleRae® was growing into something I never could have imagined.

When it came to things like packaging, presentation, and all those little details that go into running a business, I honestly just winged it. 😂 you guys were getting 10 bars in a gallon ziplock bag 😂😂

Not because I didn’t care, but because those things were never my priority. My priority was making products that worked for my family. And when other parents started coming to me, sharing their stories, asking questions, and desperately looking for something that might help their children, I wanted to be there for every single one of them. If a parent needed an hour of my time to talk about their child’s skin, they got it.

The packaging could wait. The people couldn’t. And somehow, through all of that, BubbleRae® continued to grow.

Fast-forward to today… I finally graduated with the degree I always wanted . Three of my four babies are now in school.. and after years of trying to figure out Raelyn’s skin, we finally understand her triggers and have reached a place where things are much more manageable.

For the first time in years, I feel like I can come up for air. And with that comes something I’ve been looking forward to for a really long time…Finally being able to give BubbleRae® the attention it deserves beyond just the products themselves.

The packaging. The presentation. The little details. All the things I’ve had ideas for over the years but never had the time or mental space to bring to life. Which brings me to these! ☀️
