You probably did this today. And I wish I could go back and warn you sooner.
Rubbing your eyes feels harmless — but every time you do it, you’re putting direct pressure on your cornea. Over time that pressure reshapes it. That’s keratoconus. And by the time your vision starts looking distorted, the damage is already done.
This is what I see in my chair more than I’d like to.
