One of the things I love about stuff at the store is that it’s like a window to the past. Someone cared enough about this book that they wrote who it belong to and the year it was bought . This was inscribe over 100 years ago. I like to read the old post cards too, it’s like reading your sister’s diary, but you don’t even know the person and it was 50 years ago. ❤️

Saturday in the store I had a 4 year old boy. Very inquisitive. His grandfather bought a California raisin figure. He ask what is it, he told him a California raisin. He ask, but what is it? He told him iconic. I added it’s something important. Grandpa said kind of like Great Grandma . I told him I was going to be a Great Grandma. He looked up at me ( 5’ 3”) and said, you’re iconic and tall! He made my day!
