Have you ever wondered why your stylist asks you to uncross your legs or tilt your head down during your haircut? There’s actually a good reason!

✅ Uncrossing your legs helps keep your body balanced and sitting straight. When legs are crossed, it can cause your body to tilt, making one side of your haircut appear longer than the other.

✅ Looking down helps create a more accurate haircut. When your chin is lifted too high, the hair stretches differently, which can affect the overall shape and length once you return your head to a natural position. Looking down shows all of the little hairs from your nape are that need to be evenly cut with the other areas of your head.

These small adjustments help your stylist create the most even, precise, and beautiful cut possible!
