To Rafi, the dad of our four, for showing up every single day, the way the best ones quietly do.

And to our Papa, Jeff Stone, who taught us what relentless really means in the hardest five months of our lives. Ten years on, we still carry everything he gave us.

To every father out there, the ones showing up tired, the ones holding it together quietly, the ones their kids will one day understand the way we understand ours. We see you.

Ten years ago today, my dad — Papa, Jeff Stone — had a spinal cord stroke.

In an instant, he couldn't move. Couldn't speak. Couldn't breathe on his own.

For five months, he communicated by moving his lips. We learned to read them. He never stopped trying to connect, to share, to be present.

In those months, he taught us what courage really looks like.

He showed us that bold isn't loud. That relentless isn't reckless. That strength isn't always physical. Sometimes it's choosing to keep showing up, even when life has changed completely.

Bold&Zeal exists because of him.

Ten years ago this month, my dad had a spinal cord stroke. He was paralyzed from the neck down but never lost his spark. We called him Papa. We built this brand to carry him forward.

My heart is full being back in a Wharton classroom. So grateful for the foundation built here — the ideas, relationships, and perspective that eventually led to Bold&Zeal. It’s pretty special to sit where so many of the early seeds were planted and reflect on how far the journey has come.
