My friend Mark Jimenez owns Red Rock Running Company in Las Vegas, and over the years we've spent a lot of time talking shop—what makes a great running store, how we build better teams, and how independent retailers can keep getting better.

Eventually we decided to start recording those conversations.

We’re growing our team at 605 Running Company.

We’re looking for great people to join us as Fit Advisors at our Downtown and Bridges locations.

What makes someone a great Fit Advisor? You don’t need to be the fastest runner in the room—or even consider yourself a runner. We can teach you about shoes, apparel, products, and our fitting process.

What we’re looking for is harder to teach.

Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people. Someone dependable, curious, welcoming, and ready to learn. Someone who wants to be part of a team that cares about its customers, each other, and the community we serve.

We’re just days away from 605 Trail Fest at Good Earth State Park on Saturday, August 15, and everything is coming together for an awesome morning on the trails.

The forecast is trending toward some great August race-day temperatures, the swag has arrived, and there’s still time to get yourself on the starting line.
