s. To this day, I would rather receive a hand crafted item, over anything purchased in a store! Some of my most treasured items are ones that were made by my parents, siblings, husband, and children. My hope is to help others give those same type of treasured gifts to someone they love! I discovered the art of copper tooling while searching for copper to do a punched picture at a local craft store. The owner didn't have the gauge of copper I needed, but he showed me a piece he had done with thinner copper, walked me through the process, and I have been hooked ever since! I cannot explain how incredibly rewarding it is to take a flat sheet of copper, copper wire, or copper pipe and transform it into a work of art. My latest creative obsession is flame painting! Even though my husband is a firefighter, playing with fire is soooo much fun, and the colors achievable with a torch and a lot of patience are nothing short of amazing!
