A Nocona boots display at the Nocona boots factory in Nocona, Texas, 1938. It's kind of interesting to me that almost all of the boots on display are snip toes, although I see a few round toes in there. I've always thought that round toes are the more traditional style, but that could be just because I've seen so many cowboy movies. Note also that there don't appear to be any square toes, which is the style seen in so many boot stores today. I'm told that many folks find square toes to be the most comfortable, but I think they look wonky. Maybe toe styles go back and forth in cycles, like fashion itself. The Texas Boot Company ... any ideas?
