🇺🇸 Honor Those That Served Us First 🇺🇸

This act is such an honor to participate in. If you can’t attend, please consider donating so the tradition can continue.

Please join the Dr. George M. Jones VFW Post 1309 Smithville at Oak Hill Cemetery & Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. as they replace flags to honor all deceased Veterans who served our nation — including those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Last year, over 1,000 flags were placed, and they would love your help again this year. If you have a golf cart or connections with others who do, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. The back gate will be open. Remember- don’t go down 95 on your golf cart.

Let’s come together as a community to pay respect to the brave men and women who defended our country and our freedom. 🇺🇸

Wow—what a year it’s been! 💖

I am beyond grateful for all the love and support you showed during my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY celebration!! It truly meant the world to me to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones. Y’all made this milestone so incredibly special! I only wish that had taken more pics but we were having to much fun!!

A huge thank you to Michelle Rojas and all your family and friends for choosing to make me a stop along your birthday celebration—I hope your day was absolutely amazing! 🥳 You all looked fabulous!!
