Vila Cleaners is now under the new ownership of Mrs. Keeow brings with her over 20+ years of clothing alteration and dry cleaning industry experience. She primarily specializes in tailoring men's suits and wedding dresses. Throughout her career, she has held key positions at many prominent and popular clothiers. Just to name a few, she was an Alterations Specialist at Da

vid's Bridal; a full-time Tailor at Men's Wearhouse; and, most recently, a Master Tailor at JoS. Her story begins when she came to the United States as a refugee from the civil wars in Laos. She had no money, and only the clothes she wore on her plane ride to America. Although she had graduated college in Laos with the equivalent of a Bachelor's in Architecture, the language barrier posed as a major obstacle to acquiring a suitable job for an educated person. Fortunately, she got offered a job with a family friend to dry clean clothes and occasionally make some clothing alterations. Sewing clothes was a skill she had learned as a young child out of necessity, since buying new clothes was a luxury for third-world countries. But, it was this skill that helped her and her husband to put food on the table and raise their children. Thank you for your time and interest in our business!
