Okay, you're gonna have to just humor me for a few. The majority of our customers walk in with with no idea where to start. I love this. I want people to feel safe enough to walk through our doors and ask for help. Since I opened the shop, I've had everything sorted by brand. One, that reinforces brand blindness and smaller brands have no chance to stand out. Two, people are coming in looking for a type of shoe, so instead of parading you all around, I've reorganized the shoes by categories. Will this work? No idea. I may wake up and regret it tomorrow. But give me a little while to test a theory here, and don't mind the temporary signage either. 😁

Are you pro carbon for trail racing? Feels like we've had a surge of cool shoes come out that are geared for smoother trails like Western States, but we come across a lot of technical trail racing in the PNW. As a shop, we've definitely felt a lack of options for lower stack, responsive technical capable shoes. Slide two are some options we've been having fun cruising around in the past year and a few we can't wait to test the limits of. What are you eyeing this year or what has been working for you? We really wanna know!
Slide 1: Hoka Rocket Trail, Hoka Tecton X3, The North Face Vectiv Pro 3, Asics Metafuji Trail, Brooks Cascadia Elite, Nike ACG Ultrafly 2
Slide 2: La Sportiva Prodigio Pro, On Cloud Ultra Pro, Nnormal Kjerag 2, norda 005, Terrex Agravic Speed Ultra 2, Terrex Agravic TT, Salomon s/Lab Genesis

January is notoriously slow for retail. When I put out a call that I'd be donating 25% of our sales to these two groups last weekend, you turned out in record numbers. We didnt get to donate a few hundred dollars, we got to donate a few THOUSAND. Watching this community rally together has been incredibly emotional for me. Whenever someone came in to tell me they wanted to support based off the post, I had to hold back tears. This community is freaking amazing. You really are. We might be small, but we care A LOT.
THANK YOU. ❤️

Community, we're not being quiet. We're being vigilant. Our doors are open and inside is a fed up, over worked white woman with a dog that does not like men in masks, willing to use her privilege however possible. I'm angry. I'm worried. But none of these emotions are new. If you need a space to hold meetings, need supplies or donations, we're here. Reach out to me. I've personally joined groups to learn more about how best to protect people in this community. We've learned no one is safe in this country right now and we have got to have each other's backs. ✌️❤️

We filled a 16 foot truck with inventory and hoped for the best. The next day the threat was gone but the community was still there offering support. People I only met when the shop opened, now close friends, everyone checking on each other. The amount of messages I got asking if we needed help left me overwhelmingly emotional. even invited us to set up a pop up outside their shop if things went downhill. Is any community even remotely as fortunate as us? Runners are amazing, resilient, relentlessly giving and I could never regret opening this shop because of the sheer gift of the community we've built. If you or anyone is in need, we're back on our feet and ready to help. So much love to you all. ❤️

In a way, owning a business is literally the last thing I should be doing. I've never been a fan of Black Friday or overconsumption, but here I am begging you to do it, to shop and purchase alllll the things just so we can stay open. Winter is brutal for run shops, especially when you're in a small town. You have to lean so heavily on the community. And oh I know times are not exactly easy right now. So I guess that's where I come to terms with the sales. I hope you will take advantage of them though. The 30% off $300 is almost a buy one get one if you bought 2 pairs of shoes. I think I just need you all to know, I started this business to build community and create a convenience in our little town, not necessarily to make a buck. But the whole world runs on money and your support is the only thing that keeps the doors open. Small businesses hustle in a different way than big box stores. We all offer the same prices but I know personally, we don't have a marketing department, a buyer, heck, we don't even have management. To compete in this weekend requires incredibly late hours and lots of time behind a computer and even more time NOT running :(.
So today, on Small Business Saturday, I hope you'll pop into any of your favorite local businesses and just remind them that all this work is worth it. I know I appreciate y'all more than you'll ever know and I'm sure the rest of the Valley feels the same way. Thank you so much for the last two years, genuinely. ❤️

I got my natural running talent, a frizzy mop, and sweet tooth from my dad. He's the reason why running became a thing we all did in this family. He was so fast. He ran with an ease that looked more like gliding. I didn't even get to tell him about the shop. Dementia had its claws in deep by the time I opened, but oh my goodness, he would've got a kick out of it. I wish you all could've met him. Russell passed on September 15th and I'm going to miss him terribly. Please bear with me over the next week or so. I'm behind in everything, and we may have to adjust the shop hours a few days. I'm sorry. But if you're up for it, run a few road miles in his honor. He was a roadie at heart. ❤️

I got to shoot Devils's Gulch 50/100 miler this past weekend, and it felt like such a local race. The number of Snoqualmie Valley residents crushing it out there was crazy! Congrats to everyone who dared toe that line. What a bruiser of a course.
